Eli Dills

Eli is a scene designer and theater technician known for his problem-solving abilities in the sculptural and dynamic world of theatrical design. He has served as an assistant designer in drama and opera, skilled at interpreting the visions of directors and collaborating across departments. 
Recently, Eli was the associate scenic designer for UNCSA's production of "A Little Night Music," where he developed detailed documentation for over 50 transition sequences involving automation. Currently, he is designing two operas, "Médée" and "La Colombe," performing in the spring. Eli is thrilled to expand his experience in opera, having worked at Spoleto Festival USA as a props apprentice, where he contributed to the original opera production of The Turn of the Screw. 
With a background in props and scenic art, Eli deeply appreciates the collaborative efforts of the artisan teams that bring a design to life.
